Beautiful Australian Beaches
Palm Beach is located in Sydney, NSW and is home to many other attractions than simply beautiful white sand, luscious waves, and buff beach bods. Known to many in Australia for being the film place for popular soap opera, “Home and Away.” Palm Beach is definitely home to the rich and famous and is one of the most high-end beaches in the world. North Palm Beaches houses the Barrenjoy Lighthouse Bushwalk and the coastline is perfect for surfing, hiking, and jogging. There is also a North Palm Beach Surf Club, with information, rentals, etc. for travelers to get the most out of the beach. O, and don’t forget the ocean pool, perfect for swimming laps or letting the little ones dive right in without any fears. The best part of it all: it is open all year long and is ABSOLUTELY free!
Hyams Beach is located in Jervis Bay, which is a National Park in New South Wales. This beautiful beach with quite possibly the clearest waters in the world is known for kangaroo-yes, kangaroo-spotting every morning. Because the water is so clear, it is perfect for snorkeling, scuba diving, whale watching, fishing, jet-skiing, and swimming with dolphins. O, did I forget also perfect for lounging under the warm sun and enjoying life as it is? Don’t forget your sun screen because once you arrive, you will never want to leave, even after hours under the Aussie sun.

Whitehaven Beach is located on Whitsunday Island in Queensland. And, just as the name describes, it truly is a white haven. The uninhabited beach has peaceful, calm waters and untouched white sand. It is easily the most photographed beach of them all, and after a minute of arriving, you will understand why. The views are simply breathtaking and will leave you speechless. Ok, so how do you get to this tropical paradise? Well, a few ways. Sailing charters offer day or multi-day trips to the sandy edges or luxury cruising yachts and ferries are also great ways of experiencing the impeccable Whitehaven Beach.
Cable Beach is on the Indian Ocean on the South Sea. This beach may be one of the most exotic beaches due its white sand, camels, yes, camels, wandering around freely, and the 16 mile stretch of pristine sand. Of course, the only downside is the jellyfish. Just go during the summer months and you will have no problems. If you want, you can even enjoy a ride across the beach on a camel’s back, or simply lay back, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and warmth from the sun.
Wineglass Bay Beach is located in Tasmania, and is definitely on the list of the top beaches in the world for more than one reason. Located in Freycinet National Park, it is a mere two hour walk to the top through the woodland to the scenic lookout over the magnificent Wineglass Bay. The white sand, the green of the forest surrounding the sand, and the bluest hues of the clean, clear waters makes this view stunning; no words or photography can do this view justice, it must be seen for itself.
